What is the seventh commandment?
The seventh commandment tells us, “You shall not steal”. It forbids the unjust taking away or deprivation of anything from anyone. It commands justice and charity in the care of earthly goods and the fruit of men’s labour. The seventh commandment commands that:-
- We must not steal damage of vandalize the property of others.
- We must respect the property and the work of others.
- We must be honest and hardworking in our schools and at work. We must strive to give an honest day’s work for an honest day’s wage.
- We must strive to pay our debts on time.
- We share with the poor.
- We are faithful to our promises and be trustworthy.
