Do Not Be Afraid To Speak Out, Nor Let Yourself Be Silenced

The very vibrant and Spirit-filled Rev. Fr. Ian Taylor, who is also the spiritual director of the group that introduced the Jesus Explosion weekend retreat to Trinidad and Tobago, opened the 2010 edition with a powerful and provoking talk entitled, “Do not be afraid to speak out, not let yourselves be silenced.”  Emphasizing the need and urgency for Catholic evangelization, he challenged the Church to arise and do that which She was established to do by Jesus; that is to go out into the whole world and proclaim the Good News to all men.
