The Endless Mercy of God

Infinite as the boundless sea,
Is the mercy of our God most high,
It flows unceasing, endlessly,
From the heart of the Almighty.

It reaches far, to every land,
And covers every sin and stain,
A balm of healing for our wounds,
A shelter from the guilt and shame.

His mercy breaks the chains of sin,
And sets the captives free to live,
His grace abounds in endless songs,
Of love and hope and life to give.

For those who turn from sin and pride,
And seek His mercy and His face,
He welcomes with His arms spread wide,
And grants the gift of saving grace.

So let us come with contrite hearts,
And lay our sins before His throne,
For He will heal and make us whole,
And give us strength to carry on.

And when we stumble on our way,
And sin once more with stubborn heart,
His mercy will still lead us back,
And give us a brand new start.

For mercy never will run dry,
But flows forever from above,
To save and heal and sanctify,
Through the endless mercy of God’s love.

And as we bask in mercy’s light,
And see the wonders of His grace,
Our hearts will sing with pure delight,
And worship Him in all our days.

For nothing can separate us,
From the love and mercy of our God,
Who gives us life eternal,
Through the precious blood of Christ our Lord.

So let us embrace His mercy,
And let it flow through every part,
For in His endless love and grace,
We find the healing of our hearts.
